Leadership in Language Education

About the Series

Overview

Candlin & Mynard’s Leadership in Language Education Series was created in 2024 and has its roots in the Positive Pedagogical Praxis Series, edited by Tim Murphey. The series draws on theoretical models and practical case studies from the leadership and psychology literatures, making it an essential resource for educators and researchers. Contributors leverage insights from the business world and apply them to second-language acquisition research and practice. Each book in the series is theoretically grounded yet rich with practical activities, procedures, and principles that promote profound learning experiences in diverse educational settings. This series offers teacher-friendly content designed to help educators implement innovative ideas in their classrooms. By bridging the gap between language education and leadership training, these volumes provide actionable strategies and real-life examples to inspire and cultivate the next generation of global leaders.
